Our Story

Over 20 years after acquiring Edward L. Scarlett’s historic farmhouse, Scarlett House Catering is a leader in the catering and event management industry, providing exceptional service throughout Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area. Offering four primary divisions within the Scarlett House brand, our team mandate is to provide culinary excellence, refined service, and constant attention to detail, ensuring our guests’ expectations are exceeded every step of the way. Whether it be on ground level providing service for intimate private parties, restaurant style in-house dining, or up in the air catering for major Canadian Airlines, our service and expertise is unmatched.

At Scarlett House Catering, we understand the importance and value of individuality and uniqueness amongst our clients. Our team of highly skilled professionals are dedicated to creating memorable experiences regardless of the size or scope of any service. In respect, our philosophy is to provide excellent food, superior service, and apply fresh thinking to each of our divisions.

Our Facility

Our modern state-of-the-art commissary is located at 6905 Millcreek Drive, Mississauga where we are equipped with 2,500 ft² of environmentally controlled HACCP compliant cold production space where all our Fresh on the Go product is produced, including; sandwiches, salads, cheese trays and more. This allows us to guarantee to our clients that their packaged, ready-to-eat product is always under temperature control. Our cold production kitchen also includes 800 ft² of cooler space and 400 ft² of freezer space. All of our fresh ingredients are sliced in-house using state of the art computer controlled slice and portion machines to ensure consistently accurate portions and enhanced food safety. In addition to our cold kitchen we have a full service-catering kitchen. We can comfortably serve 20,000 guests daily from our 4,500 ft² catering kitchen. On a typical day we serve approximately 6,000 guests.

Scarlett House Catering has a fleet of service vehicles including 1 cargo delivery van, 2 refrigerated cargo delivery vans and 3 refrigerated 18-foot straight trucks. All vehicles in our fleet are equipped with real time GPS tracking devices, which monitor and record location and temperature status. All of our refrigerated delivery vehicles are equipped with Diesel or electric standby units which allows us to ensure that food is kept at the correct temperature at all times.
